VZ Berlina how to fit clock spring

Hi gang, does anyone have the correct instructions for fitting a clock spring to a VZ. I know how to remove steering wheel. It just the clock spring fitment. Some instructions, say just to centre it. Others say you need to rotate left to right.

I am sure there is a correct proceedure for it?

Hi, I have just checked the quality and found that it wasn't very good owing to the limitations of image size on the forum. I have replaced it with text, hope it is still of some use to you.

To ascertain if the steering column has been damaged due to an accident the steering column must be inspected. Check that the mounting lugs to the attaching bracket, also if control springs have been damaged.
Check that the shaft does not feel difficult or hard turn. If there art any faults replace then steering column assembly.
install
1. Steering column.
a) Position steering column into vehicle, apply a bead of
sealant around base plate of steering column to floor pan. (RTV732 - Loctite). Install upper bolts do not
tight.
b) Slide shaft universal coupling onto rack. align marks
to ensure the steering wheel is centralised. Make sure the retaining clip is in place. install pin and nut,
tighten.
Universal Coupling Phi and Nut: 23-3111Sm
c) Install 2 nuts to floor pan and tighten.
Steering Column Floor Pan Nuts 15-30Nm
d) Tighten the 2 bolls to the upper steering column.
Steering Column Upper 15-30Nm
2. install ignition key barrel if required.
a) Key in ON position_
b) Push barrel into place until you feel the spring catch
clip in.
3. Install remote key sensor and ignition key light.
a) Connect earth to ignition lock, I screw.
b) Position remote key sensor to ignition luck. co
wiring and remove key light.
4. Install the combination switch assemblies to the
of the steering column-
a) Position wiring harness to steering column, clip into place.
b) Push in the turn indicator switch and make sure tabs lock in.
c) Push in the wiper / washer switch and make sure tabs lock in.
S. Install clock spring assembly, 4 clips, lift tang up and push in, I or 2 clips at a time.

Note: The clock spring unit must be centralised (the green tab fully visible) before installation.
To centralise the unit bold in your hand, squeeze the central dips rotate the centre unit until it slops, then turn back approximately 2.5 turns unfll he green tab is fully visible, release central tabs.

6. Install the steering wheel as describe&
7, Install and pull back to clip in base of lower steering column trim, feed ignition key light surround around
ignition lock as the lower trim is installed, install I screw.
8. Install the upper steering column trim. push upper trim down to clip in place.
9. Install the fuse and body control module trim and screws.
10. Install the lower right support panel VT Ser I -5 screws,
IT Series II on 2 rivets and for Auto trans remove plastic plug,
IL. Install the centre lower dash trim. 13 screws, (air conditioner sensor 2 screws, if fitted)
12. Install the lower dash right side panel by gripping
with hands and fitting hinge pins, push in clips. .Connect the earth battery terminal.

As you are working on a component of the SRS perhaps the genuine procedure might help as well.

Do you need a special tool to get the steering wheel off to replace the clock spring sensor
