Not to alarm you but sometimes when the fuel gauge error comes up it can mean a buggered ECU.

Hope it isn't.

Is there anyway to find out if the ECU is faulty??

If the ECU is faulty who in Perth could reprogram/program a new one??

I did read somewhere once that it might be worth taking your neg terminal off your battery and giving it a jiggle, just to make sure it's not a loose connection causing the problem. Otherwise you might want to say hello to holden :)

I had these messages show up when my ECU was dead.

An easy way to tell, if you have access to an OBD reader, it will constantly give an error saying it cannot connect, then will, then will fail again over and over.
