hi guys,
ive got a 2006 6.0ltr crewman that is giving me heaps of grief at the moment. shaking on idle, massive fuel consumption, occasional noisy lifters and stacks of diagnostic trouble codes. looking at some of the threads here have helped me out alot with where to start looking as far as the missing and fuel consumption goes but some of the dtc's that come up i cant find anywhere online and ive searched for hours. codes like p3100, b3b00, p3300 and c3100 all say please refer to official manual.if anyone can tell me what the official manual is or what these codes mean i would be extremely greatful. cheers

LS2 codes at the below link. Have you changed your o2 sensors recently? I'd wager that the o2's are the reason your fuel economy and idle are all over the place.

thanks mate but none of the codes im looking for are there. it gets a bit confusing with ls2, l98 and l76, all of which i have searched for. i have changed the o2 sensors twice, second time i used bosch ones, still no difference

Are they the actual codes mate? I can't find them in the manual.

First implementation of the L76 wasn't it? Not an LS2.

Yeah Pirate, LS2 only found in VZ HSV and the early VE HSV with 6lt.

its a l76 and the four codes i cant find are p3100, p3300, b3b00 and c3100. ive looked everywhere and i even emailed holden and they didnt want to tell me anything except take it to a dealer which i have already done without result. its doing my head in!

I have the genuine manual here, and just cant find those codes on the DVD??

Take those codes to a helpful workshop with a full-function Tech 2 scan tool (some cheap tools are crap, and some only read active not stored codes).
As for excessive fuel consumption I had a faulty O2 sensor on my VS and it started guzzling, new sensor fixed it straight away?
