Hello to all on this forum... I am a new member...
I have a question about my air cond in my 2006 vz crewman 6.0l...
Whenever I accelerate moderately to full on, my air cond seems to cut out while accelerating
and then when I even out it comes back on again...
Is this normal or should I be worried...???

If you accelerate to wide open throttle (WOT),
the A/C compressor will switch off automatically at some point during acceleration, to protect it from over revving.
Then, when you back off, it will re engage.

It's a safety feature built into the PCM. As inside the compressor, there are small pistons to compress the gas.
If it spins over it's rated limit, it can over compress the gas and also possibly damage the internals of the compressor.

Thank you Nut Kracker for the info...
