Vz ssz electrical problem

Hi, ive been having a problem lately with my vz ssz. just driving normally and the radio, the dash and the pod gauges turn off then turn back again. its as if ive turned the car off and turned it back on again. but the engine still runs fine, it doesn't stall or anything. if it happens when im stopped i do get a shudder from the engine. ive asked my auto elect and says hes not sure. could this be a problem with the ignition switch? some help would be much appreciated. thanks.

Can you get the car on a Tech2 to see what DTCs are registered in memory?
Maybe an earth point for the dashboard items is loose etc?
For the engine to shudder there could be a lead there.
