No injector pulse

Hi guys just joined so not real sure what I'm doing yet,my son has fitted a 2008 ve 6 cyl to his vz but it's showing no injector pulse has anyone got idea as to why?

Is the imoboliser light still flashing when you crank the engine?

It's not showing any other faults apart from injector pulse

Have you fitted the appropriate ECU and other computer devices to suit the VE engine?
Also the wiring looms for the VZ alloytec could be different to the wiring looms for the VE.
Has the changeover included the VE transmission.
