the dreaded squeal?

Go to Autostop and ask for the backing for the pads, I'll give you the part number when i go out to my car.

I am going to fit some today to the Harrops. I have also found that some cheaper pads come with them, that is how I got them for my old evo brembos.

I think the rattle is the inner pad moving in the caliper bracket ... I just put some high temp silicone on the back of the pad and let it dry against the piston face and it seems to disappear for now anyway.... Worked for my rear pads

Thats what my mechanic is recommending as a short term fix until shims become available.
