Cruise control: Not working! help!!

Yes another cruise control thread...

Car is a 2006 VZ SS
The cruise control will turn ON, but it will not set the speed.
Brake lights are all working.

Ive been told its the cruise control switch under the dash on the brake pedal, and it will need adjusting/replacing. What part do I turn exactly???

Have you replaced all of your brake lights with LEDs by any chance?

Yes I have, but that mod was done a good 1.5 years ago - no problems until now.

I didnt just replace the globes, I installed the proper kit with resistors etc...

Can anyone help with giving me any advice as to why i cant change the time on my 2007 VE SS-V...i can get into the screen but all i can do is scroll up and down no numbers flash up like the instructions say and after 8 sec the screen flicks back to the previous screen.I'm assuming this time and date screen worked back in January because the year is set at 2015...i have only just recently bought this car....any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

It may or may not apply to your model.

Should mentioned I had a scanner on the car.
Picked up the code - CO161 - Brake switch Circuit Malfunction

Any help on how to adjust it?

Obviously I want to try this before I have to replace
