Hi everyone,
I have to swap out the engine in my 2004 vz v6 as the timing chain broke but can't find a engine with the same code mine has the code 10H7B. I have located engines with the following codes 10H7F and 10HBC will either of these suit or dose it matter. I called Holden to find out and they told me it dose not matter but just want to make sure before I buy one.

Hey mate, im pretty sure the only engine codes you can use are 10H7B and 10H7A but with the 10H7A engine you need to change the flywheel over from your old engine becayse the 10H7A engibe is from an auto.

I did an engine swap in my car and my mechanic recommended that I get the latest engine which will fit my car along with all electronics, computer, ignition and driver size lock and orignal key. Couldn't be happier as it was the best decision over repairing an existing engine plus makes my car fly!
