I am hoping to replace my valves or put secondhand cylinder head in my vz
I have hunted high and low for a vz manual with no luck other than the 500$ ish holden one.
In my hunting I have found a CD on ebay that is for a VE manual
Has anyone bought one of these?
Maybe someone knows if its the same engine as the VZ
Would it describe how to remove and replace either the the valves or the whole head?(if you have the cd)
Or does anyone have a how to to do this?
Many thanks. Keith

Hey tow car is that the holden one or just the haynes one on pdf because I could email that to him for free, but I dont think it covers the alloytec very well in detail.

I have the Holden one, about $500 on DVD and the Haynes one... There is no comparison, I am sorry to say!

Il give them a call once I got the head out

Hi there 99
So Im in the process of removing all the pulleys and stuff of the front before exposing the timing chain set up.
My dilema is I cant get the crank shaft pulley off.
When looking at the pulley there are no holes or anything like it to use a balancer pulley tool.
I have read up on this and a claw pulley removal tool is not advised ie: claws at the back.
Have you or anyone got any ideas?
All the sites Ive been on show a pulley with the appropriate spaces for the tool.......JUST NOT MY PULLEY...aaaarg
