Hi guys,

Just a question re guarding my temp gauge as it does not seem to move.
If I check in the on board dash it says it is sitting at 215 degrees when the car is cold. I can check all functions on the dash and the needle moves up.
As soon as I start the car both fans come on and stay on. I have replaced the temp sensor and checked resistance and voltage is around the 5v mark.
Not really sure what else you would check. I have to reset the ECU each time by taking the battery off to start it as I think it has a safety setting that won't let the car start.

I had a P0118 code if that helps.
Any ideas ?

Have you looked up what P0118 relates too?

Presuming it's on a VZ, do the alloytecs still have 2 separate temp sensors?

yes lowandslow VZ and I am not aware of 2 separate sensors ? I thought it was just the one.

As for P0118 yes I am aware of code but wondering if anyone has come across this one before and what they did to fix it.

Cheers guys
