As per previous posts I now have my vz back together after replacing valves due to low compression on cylinder one
I have filled the radiator with fluid and run the engine. On removing cap after engine cools I need to add more fluid.
I have done this three times and still it needs topping up.
This evening I placed a "topper" on the radiator inlet to try and remove any air.
I then replaced the cap and nipped to the shops for baccy(half an hour)
When i got back I found the top radiator hose had sucked in on itself. ( Hope this makes sense)
My concern is A) having to place more fluid.
And B) Why would the top hose constrict ?
I cant see any leaks at all and nothing out of the ordinary
Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I did do a search to no avail

Make sure that the tube/hose connecting to the overflow tank is NOT restricted or split/loose connection. As for the system requiring frequent top-up, I had a similar issue after replacing hoses and refilling system. After a couple of weeks everything settled down and now there is absolutely no loss or movement in coolant level (when cold). Good luck.

Just wondering if yours says the same as I read on here it should be 120?
