2005 fuel pump replacement

Having a bit of a problem taking the reservoir off the fuel pump from my 2005 vz. I assumed it would just slip off when pushing in the tabs but doesn't seem to budge?

Its usually replaces as a whole assembly. No need to take it apart

Everyone I've seen replace a fuel pump replaced just the pump itself. How much $$ do u think the whole assembly would cost?
