Sounds like its got a gut full of air and needs to be bled! Foaming is a dead giveaway. The car needs to be started and slowly turned Lock to Lock, momentary touching FULL LOCK and continue until NO AIR or drop in fluid in reservoir.
The reservoir is just that ( A reservoir )

Replacements are wrecking yard ones. Which is why the second and third one went but why did the first one go in the.first place?? It now just whines when I am accelerating, it doesn't make the noise on idle.

Got a vt v8 one seems more sturdier, and found hose not tightened up properly but now I do lock to lock and ar the end of lock each way it whines real bad. Still whines in drive and reverse when accelerating. Could it still be power steering pump?

Tightening the hose properly seems to have fixed it. Thanks everyone for your help

at 190 I'd say the rack would be due for replacement unless it's already been done as well.

could be a combination, sounds like the pump might be struggling.
