Drivers Door Locking Issue

When I unlock my car my drivers door does not unlock properly. The door lock inside the car pops up but it doesnt pop up far enough for me to be able to open the door from the outside. If I go in from the backseat and pull up the lock the door will now open. Anyway to fix this issue?

Have had the issue intermittently.
In my case only seems to happen when it is hot. No fix I am aware of.

it happens sometimes and goes away. Its really annoying and want to stop it from happening all together.

Your door lock actuator needs to be replaced. About $80 from Holden and a couple of hours of your time stuffing around.

Hmmm, I had the problem on 2 VZ's so I sprayed the buttons with Silicone Spray and no further problem so far.

I did notice it was usually during wet weather.

I think the humidity causes gunk accumulated in and around the actuator to stick. I cleaned around the actuator and tried spraying some WD40 in the bit that pops up and it seemed to work, hasn't stuck since
