Hi all,

I'm new here as I just yesterday bought a Vz executive, the dealer stated that it has the 190kw engine, how do I confirm that this is the case?

Check the VIN, you'll be able to check if it's an LE0 or an LY7. Plenty of threads here explaining how to decode the VIN

H7 is high output = 190

It would appear the dealer lied to me, surprise surpise, it's the 175....

Most salesman wouldn't know their arse from a hole in the ground, when it comes to car specs. Pays to do some back ground checks of your own, write down what specific specs the car should have that your interested in, and check that they do exist, especially when it comes to series 1 and series 11.
Unless you know what the differences are some will try and palm off series 1 as series 11.
Tail lights and other cosmetic changes that are easily done.:hmmm:

Only the Calais VZ and the SV6 VZ had the 190 engine , all others the - Executive , Acclaim , Berlina , Lumina, had the 175 .
