So I finally got a new ute {But I HAD to sell a boat & a bike} dam wifes
Its a may 06 VZ v6 thunder ute
Anyway it had the old fan only on windscreen thing happening but that was just the hose of the inlet manifold
So I fixed that, topped up engine water, window washer, oil.
When I was burping the system the water in the filler began to bubble like it was boiling but the temp gauge said a quarter so I shut it down to let it settle & cool off.
after refilling the cooling system with water & re burping the system I shut it down & put engine covers back on.
THEN when I restarted it the check drive chain lights have come on.
Im REAL NEW to the VZ, Ive had many other commys but no squat about these suckers.
So all tips taken on board
SO, How the heck do I check the fault codes ????
" " reset the trip computer ????
How do I remove centre console ???
Where did you install you CB ???
Whats this button do ?? lol
Any links to posts would be good.

there's 7 cars, 2 boats and a bike here, so I understand, you can never have too many toys, nice looking ute too,
whoever has the most toys wins they say!!!

Mine is fine.. Mines got an after market clutch (unsure of brand - previous owner did it) and my accelerator feels nothing like the clutch. Its responsive and makes loud noises...

look up/google OBD11 or tech2 for vz and guys have all sorts off apps to use with, laptop, android phones, and apple gear as well, so if you are a bit of a technophobe you should be right, I just went out and bought an OBD11 To help me out if needed, VE, VZ, CRUZE, 2x ASTRA'S, ETC
