Anyone with a manual know the brake bolts torque settings on a VZ SV6 for the pins and also the hub retainer bolts. ( doing rotors too ). Front and back. I have read another model needed less torque at the rear, so model specific question really.
Thanks

VS V8 Manual
have never torque'd brake bolts... tight enough not to come undone, loose enough not to snap them...

Have done that myself before, no problem - but now I am getting a torque wrench and I may as well use it :)

Just checking... Is the rear caliper anchor plate 70 Nm + 45 as well the same as the front?
And the 32nm for the sliders , is that for all 4 calipers or just the front or back?

Check the diagram again, only the coupe is 70nm. To answer your question, the rear is 85nm, where the front is 85nm plus 45 degrees.

I got photo bucket working, here is another couple of diagrams.

lol, can't get a torque wrench to the rear brake anchor plate anyway because of the shockers in the way.
