Pim lx8 adventra

Hi there everyone, 1st- I'm having problem's with locating a PIM for my LX8 Adventra 2006. I have been told by our HOLDEN mechanic that it is very hard to find this part, so I am asking if there is anyone that know's or has this part if they are able to help? 2nd- Do the #'s on the PIM have to match? Thanx.

The serial number doesn't have match, but you will have to make sure is from a v8 car.
It will also have to be synced with your engine pcm, and bcm with Tech 2 diagnostic tool or similar, to work.
What's the reason you need to change the pim?

The holden dealer ship that i take my car to service, have told me that the PIM is buggered, they have told me that the car is 10yrs old and also it could be when we turn the car on and off all the time. Im not really happy with this so I picked my car up and drove it home. the car drives really well, but all the electronics are out of sync. Fanx for your help.
