Alright so firstly
I regret getting an alloytec
Going from driving a mates VY to my VZ, the response on the cable throttle in the ecotec engine is astounding compared to the sloppy acceleration on the alloytec due to the drive-by-wire style throttle
My question is, and its probably a no-brainer but there's no harm in asking, is there any way to do a cable throttle for an alloytec?

No. But you could buy a throttle controller called "revhigh stealth controller". There are a few threads on the subject and seems like it could suppress some lag.
