6.0lt cam upgrade

Hi guys I have a budget of 7k max I am wanting a cam upgrade but what other mods will I need other than cai exhaust and tune I am looking for around 280 rwkw is my budget going to be not enough or is my 280rwkw a dream on this budget

Good cam, otr, 3 inch exhaust with 4 into 1 headers and mafless tune should see a 6l at around 300rwkw
obviously make sure you do the double row timing chain and double valve springs.

Should be achievable with 7k id think.

$2.5k for full exhaust, $500 for otr, $1500 for cam with double row and valve springs, $1000ish for mafless tune done properly plus few k installation.

With 7 G you should be able to get a cam upgrade including all the associated parts ( lifters, springs , bolts etc etc) should be somewhere around $3,500 to $4000 Inc labour or so depending on how many assoc. parts you replace to do a proper job. The full exhaust and otr plus tune will chew up the remaking 3 grand.
With a 6L , 280 rwkw will be easy to get even with a streetable mild cam..

You should be able to get that with just exhaust and tune. I got 268 rwkw on an LS1 with just exhaust and tune, but it was in a VC. With a cam you should exceed 300.
