Ute Brakelight hook up

Just found that there is no wiring going to my utes back window brakelight.
I know I would have to hook into the tail light harness.
Im looking for some pointers please

No wiring - has it been removed ? If you intend to run a LED (low power draw) you could run a hot wire off the brake light switch top of the brake pedal.
