So I've recently put 3200 high stall, 232/234110lsa cam into my ls1 and first gear isn't shifting correctly, It's got 160,000 and it's all stock transmission.. Basically I was told I'm looking at a rebuild with all race parts ect I'm no expert on transmissions so I can't quote it completely but it'll basixally be a $$ built 4l60e, Just wondering if the 4l60e's are worth building and will hold up? This car is a daily / weekender, Is the 4l60e good to stick with if you rebuild it with all performance parts ect? Cheers.
