VZ Acclaim Towbar Wiring

Hi guys

I purchased a s/h factory towbar with wiring loom. I fitted it no problem om to the car. I routed the wring loom into the boot area on the passenger side and plugged it to the corresponding plugs in there.

I read another page somewhere stating it should be on the drivers side - is the passenger side a no no? Also the wiring loom has a yellow wire with a plug that I can't figure out where it goes. Also a blue wire with no plug - just a copper end of the wire - where does that go?

On another issue seeing I am here, how do you turn off the 165000km service warning on the display?

Any help with these things is greatly appreciated

Iirc, the drivers side has an extra plug with 1 wire in the loom. Unplug it and The yellow goes onto 1 side and the blue goes onto the other. The tail loom extends the single plug.
