Vz electric drivers seat faulty

Hey guys!

I've done a lot of browsing but couldn't find a thread with this problem.
I own a 2005 vs Calais.
My drivers seat doesn't seam to have a electrical fault as the seat works tilting in all directions.. But the backrest wont tilt forward all the way, it will stop about halfway. If I release switch and try tilt further I can hear it engage but It will not move.
All other operation is squeaky clean. Has anybody encountered this?

While it may be damaged, i did have this happen on my VE a few years back when my fat arse room mate borrowed the car and found that disconnecting the battery for a bit and reconnecting managed to reset it and it went back to working again..... worth a try
