Gear selector light

Hi, just looking for advice on how to check if the gear selector light needs replacing or if has become disconnected in centre console? how to remove covers & check?

Lower the Fuse Panel cover - under the steering wheel, look to the left towards the centre console, there are two screws holding the vertical panel side of and below the centre console, remove this and you should have access to the light.
