wl statesman v6
i have a 2005 wl statesman , tyres are 245/35 zr 19 ,with Pegasus rims
the ride is a bit hard over pot holes and stuff
can i put new rims say 16 so its more a softer ride or do i have to have the suspension altered to do this thanks,

would a 16" fit over your brakes?? Maybe look at a 17" rim, that will give you more side wall height..

As long as you keep the rolling diameter of the wheel the same and as mentioned above, if they fit over your brakes, yes you can.

16 will fit yes but only standard brakes not HSV ones..
As stated need to keep rolling diameter as close as possible to factory (legally cant change by more than 1.5cm beyond factory rolling diameter without Engineering certification, but also check your insurance)

15" and bigger rims will fit over standard brakes for this model.....

Spring change won't be necessary.....If you're looking at 16" rims, fit 215/60X16, and you will notice the ride quality difference

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure 15 wont clear brakes on front of VY and VZ
