Does the VZ calais have different headlights or bulbs to other cars in the model? On road signs and number plates on cars in front, when my lights shine on them, I notice a rainbow effect at the edge of my dipped beam. My son has a VZ exec and his does not have the rainbow effect. No problems, I am just wondering if there was a difference and why and for what reason.
Your Calais has the xenon projector headlights in the low beam. His Executive does not.
I was wondering if they were xenon lights, so that's the reason. Funny, they don't shine that blueish daylight effect that you see on some euro cars...thanks
LOL!!! You really don't think Holden are going to use the same quality as the ones you see on European cars do you?Originally Posted by New2Holden
Nope, they're still regular halogen lights (ie: they're not HID/Xenon lights), but they're a projector design - which causes the sharp cut-off and rainbow effect you're seeing.Originally Posted by New2Holden
