I don't have the Holden Bluetooth in my VZ Crewman SS, and probably shouldn't be responding here, but I provide the following should anyone be looking for a bluetooth solution that is quite versatile.Originally Posted by mav®

I was also tired of paying lots of money to install/deinstall car kits, so I went with the Blueant Supertooth-II which looks like this.
It it is attached magnetically to a metal clip you put on the sunvisor (so it is face down to what is shown). You get two clips so you can move it from vehicle to vehicle. you can buy extra clips if you need them. It is fantastic. It will bind to two different phones (so your other half can also use it) and it works extremely well. If your phone has voice dialling you can also use that.
I use it in my Crewman SS and Ford Escape as well as in my Ford Transit Van. The Transit van is VERY noisy on the road and it works perectly there too. The secret is to not turn the volume up further than you actually need. If you shop around you can get this for A$140.00 although it lists much higher on some websites. There is also an older model which is not as good in terms of size and battery life. This comes with two chargers (240V and 12v) and goes for weeks without recharging provided you remember to turn it off (by flipping the mike arm back up) after you leave your car overnight.
Also it doesn't make any noise whatever in any of the three radios in my vehicles.
