    Default Oh dear...SV6 wannabe :(

Spotted this today in a car-yard.

The person that did this should be shot.

    Any comments welcome..

Apologies about the poor quality pic, was shooting into the sun.

    Tom/WA proud owner of a 'real' SV6.

Its an exec with all the exec goodies, but it has a wing and an SV6 badge. Nothing else SV6 on it...wheels, kit, lights, engine etc.

interesting how it has black behind the number plate....vz execs have paint back there, the sports models have the black plastic like that. its clearly an exec otherwise

also does it annoy anyone else how most dealers put their crappy bit of black plastic with their name on it around every number plate they get their hands on? soo tacky

would it be wrong to remove a VZ SV6 badge and replace it with a VE SV6 badge? just looking at the badges the VE looks better styled with the S like the VT was when released. not like the VZ with its awful straightline S design

i'd like to get myself and SV6 OR SS VZ that is and change the badges with the VE ones that look hell sweet and aint stickers like the VS or just an oval shape like VT. thought vx where abit sparkly for my liking. but each to there own what are others ppl's thoughts? i agree the advert which goes around the number plate total rubbish

i love the VX S and SS badge, it's slick as, the VY/Z ones suited the angular shape of them, i like the VE ones alot.

maybe the owner thought it stood for 'Stock V6'...
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
    PM with any info.

4 that he got promoted to supervisor....
Maybe it's a whole sv6 boot, just happened 2 be the same colour?

    Well done BLACKVZSV8!

I think for whatever reason mixed the boot-lids up.

The first shot clearly has an SV6 rear boot and the 'genuine' SV6 has an exec one!

    Wankers!!

In that second pic, the bonnet doesn't line up with the front guard - BIG TIME!

But yeah, I hate try hards - especially Executives etc with SS bits on them! Aaaaargh!

The previous owner could have always had it removed

i personally want a bob tail lip similar to that off a VY/Z senator

also north city holden have some funny ideas on prices of sv6's too

apparently they wanted 1000k more for a turismo colored sv6 because the sales man said it was the first of that colour he had ever had in the yard

North Shitty Holden sources all the ex- Brightwater Nursing Homes and Rocky Bay SV6's hence they all have about 17-18000kms on the clock.

Some joker probably mixed the read lids up on those two VZ's....

I agree...that SV6 has definately had some panel damage as their was paint over-spray in a few places. Looking at the pic the panels do look a bit ajar.

$1000 extra what a tool.. must of been his first day on the 'job'.. They had a couple in their yard last week in turismo.

im currently looking to sell my sv6(its auto i want manual) and ive been looking everywhere for a manual and getting prices etc. at campbelltown australian fleet sales they wanted $37990 for a 04 sv6. i nearly fell over when i saw it, and when i asked the dealer if it was a typo he said no with a confussed look on his face, i just walked away laughing.

04 sv6 from a dealer should be $27000 absolute extreme max for a good one considering there getting them from auctions for $20000
