    Default Gen IV for 2005??

I know t3zza with all his connections will try and refute this claim, but i just picked up the latest Wheels magazine, and they seem to think there will be a Gen IV powered commodre in 2005. With production started in Canada, the Gen IV is now available, and I know that Poniac want it for the next evolution of the GTO, and they will probably get it.

It makes sense that Holden would be designing the VE for both new forms of motor (V6 and V8)

The new Chev Corvettes are using the GEN IV, its apparently eliminated the knocking ( problem in GEN III) and is pretty powerful, Corvette doing 4.2seconds 0-100. Ford better watch out!

Apparently, Holden will be using a 6.0-litre while HSV will take a 6.2-litre. And also, they're rumoured to be developing a new Torana for 2007. Torana SL/R 6000 anybody?

apparently the 2005 pontiac gto does 0 - 60mph in 4.6 secs, which means that our hsv gto which is very similar and gets the genIV with the vz upgrade will get similar times... kind of makes the gts a little redundant... this info is from the current wheels mag and they are usually pretty spot on about this sought of thing... just think... if the first version of a hsv with genIV does 4.6 secs, what will the more hi-po versions do????
