Hey everyone. My mate just bought himself a VZ SS 5.7 auto in impulse blue looks hell sweet. He wants to know if a Calais cluster can be fitted into an SS cos he wants the full three window computer display. Would this be the same way to change one in a VS as I have done? By changing the wiring loom to a Calais one? Or is it more difficult. Any help appreciated.

Yes it can be done and its very easy.

Just change the cluster. No wiring loom changes needed.

ummmm i think he has the idea that he will pull apart the SS cluster so he can put the SS decals and speedo style on the Calais one. i think he will just chop it up to suit but im not sure if you can cut it to suit a three window cluster.

he wants to put a calias cluster in but will change the background on the calais cluster to the SS background if you are able to cut the backing of the cluster. does this help you out?
