gday guys.
just wondering if any guys with utes have a problem in dry weather wen the car gets a bit sideways or you dump the clutch of the lights cause when i do it the arse of my ute gets a massive shudder and shakes the hell out of the arse end. annoying as hell.![]()
how can you possibly fix this problem other then carrying weight over the back axles.
cheers
nolathane have a bush kit that replace the standard diff cradle bushes.
its been covered before ahve you tried searching for it???
no looked in the vz thread and was nothing there
i think it goes all the way back to VS aswell. probably easier to look on the nolathane website for the parts.
it basically stiffens up the rear end and stops the diff from wanting the hit the underbody...

I think you got too much power!!!!![]()
Maybe you need to stop dropping the clutch ?
I assume you have a LSD in yours. They are meant to have proper LSD diff oil in them (which i assume the factory would automatically do) and also a friction modifier additive/compound as far as i know. It basically lets it slip a little to stop chatter. Thats my non technical description !
I dont know if the additive is done at the factory or the pre delivery service ? May have been left out by mistake. (or maybe you are simply pushing it too hard)

its just getting axle tramp....is it standard height??
ya mum's got axle tramp!
haha yeah sorry i know i've got a problem, i'm trying to cut back.
Anyways on topic; I think the bushes idea is a good one, but a cheaper one is to not hammer it so hard so often, your not only killin tyres but you'll blow yer diff soon enough.
But on the flip side, go ahead and do it and blow the diff, then go get a fully sic one.
yer its been lowered but both me and my mate who has a vy ss ute and wen you take them around a corner fast enough and on the accelerator and it comes around sideways then has massive axle tramp but gonna give thise bushes a go and see if they fix the problem
