6 cd in dash cd player

Hi guys, i currently have a 2005 sv6 commodore with single cd that came factory. I was wondering if i could buy a 6cd dash blaubunkt like in the holden calais from ebay and install it in the place of my single cd player. Will it work?Thanks

I bought a 6 stacker out of a storm ute few years back, plugged it straight in and it works a treat! this unit was out of a VY2 just keep that in mind, but what could be so different in VZ that they couldn't work. Don't see why not

I got a 6 stacker out of VY Clubsport. Worked fine in my 05 sv6.
If you are buying of ebay make sure you get the security pin.

The upmarket versions of the Blaubunkt also have a subwoofer amplifier and subwoofers that added to the system. This amplifier is in the boot, but I dont know if the wiring loom is common to all versions of the VZ.

Looking at a VY wiring diagram shows that it requires a good earth, a power supply (fused from the switched side of the ignition) and take offs from the rear speakers.

I dont know where the subwoofer speakers are located, still investigating.
