Dyno Tuning

I'm new to this site and i'm looking for a place to take my VZ Ute to get Dyno'd and maybe chipped.

Any suggestions?

There are plenty of places around, but all depends on where you are from?

Tuning for those does happen at the moment, just not sure who does it in your state, costs the tuner about $400 for the license/credits to do your tune so don't be suprised if they hit you for 1500 for the tune

I assume you have an Alloytec?

i paid $900 if your in brisbane/gold coast i recommend HI TORQUE

Mine was originally tuned by G&D. No offense to G&D but you could do better. To the OP, if you're just after a tune get a mail order. Don't waste $1000 + on a custom tune.

Hey mate,

"Pulse Racing" in Menai. They did an excellent job on my vz ss and my mates sti. no shonky business there! $1100 for the dyno tune and readouts. they spend a good 4 - 5 hours on your car getting the max power for u.

But yeah i was really impressed, highly recommend!

not everyone can tune an alloytec, but it seems everyones tuning the LS series engines without difficulty. just cause they tune a ss good doesnt mean they can tune the 6 well......just my 2 bob

nice figures, i wanna get my tuned.. it's only got a catback on it at the moment n i wanna see what it puts out

same as mine mdmatt. only a cat back and growler kit. manual also... so pretty much stock i guess.

i would expect similar outputs from your car. maybe a bit less without a growler kit, they do make a big difference!

fuel also increased from 11 L/100 to 9.5 L/100 since tune. it never sat in the 9's on a daily basis up until now. the tune was best money i ever spent!
