diff gears
wondering if anyone has changed diff gears.
ive got some 3.46's ready to go in just wondering what ppl think of them.
and any probs with auto boxes

3.46s from what ive been told are perfect any steeper and you may have problems with the A5 box, very interested to hear ur results because i have a set in the garage too.

have heard its like adding 70hp, but you lose power on the dyno.

anyone changed diff gears yet?
mine is booked into HI TORQUE on the 6th of DEC!!! woohoo. - the 3.46's are going in

youll probably have to stop in at holden to have the computers software changed to the different gears, so it will re-alter the shift points and correct the speedo

i figure because the gears will increase acceleration it will reduce the top speed of the car, maybe something to do with that

I am not wasting a penny on my SV6. I have seen the light and am getting a VY tonner or a WB/HQ tonner with a 350. The SV6 is the missus/family car now.
