    Default oil in intake pipe

    Hello
I have a vz sv6 (04) 60,000 on the clock and I'm after some info. Is it normal to have oil residue inside your intake pipe just before the throttle body? Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it? I have just asked Dr Bob from the pub hopefully he'll be abvle to shed some light on this. If anyone else has any info it would be appreciated.

    Thanks

You sure it's oil residue and not carbon build up? There will always be black crap in the intake pipe that feels slightly greasy, it's just the carbon from the combustion process.
