UPDATE
today i am going into the bank to finish filling out the loan applications (some parts i didnt understand) and pretty much we will discuss from there and see how long til i can sign the cheques and go pick her up.
couldn't find any, they mostly had vz's, some other car yards had vy with like 140000km for around the same price (compared to 42000km), and some vx's with 100000km-160000km. so me and dad figured out the vz was a better deal, being low km's and a vz, it will last a plenty of good years, and i wont find a much better deal locally.
lets say its better than what i was going to get myself into (97' hyundai coupe, 56000km, $9750, but with the loan, there was about $6500 worth of extra costs for the loan and car, eg, fees, transport, insurance (which was $2,300 on itself), so i dodged a bullet there thanks to my older brother who advised me to tell the bank branch to shred the papers, and we didso i feel alot better getting this)
There good cars, has the new generation Alloytec engine and will last you a long time until you test drive the VZ SS and feel the power, you'll want one!!!
Don't drink and drive you might spill some

well the bank rang me today and told me the loan was approved, and the paperwork should be tomorrow!! so then all i do is go into the bank, sign a few things, go to the dealer, exchange, so then VROOM VROOM
will update tomrrow
Congrats man, enjoy the new car

richo - sign up to www.jcclub.net (its the cruising and events forum for JC) and go to the nsw section, were all there and happy to help out.
dont worry about it being an exec. Mines an acclaim, so apart from the extra airbags theres not much difference.
I came out of a VX Exec but it was fully kitted up with the SS kit, everything from the SS headlights to the rims, spoiler, dashI wanted to get into a VZ SV6 because I love them ever since the folks had them as company cars, but it wasnt too be. One particular Holden dealership offered me more then the VX was worth on the proviso I buy the Acclaim that day, so I did!
Once you get on your feet theres some fairly cheap add ons you can do to make it look nicer like rims. Mine now has a leather SS steering wheel which is awesome. Next is the SS pedals for it.
I assume yours would still have factory warranty, so your pretty much set!
but yeh, if your interested in tagging along for a cruise with other enthusiests join up to www.jcclub.net, you'll see us in the NSW section!
richo, you got the VZ? wouldn't mind seeing some pics.
We got rep back, yaaay!
