    Default Alloytech & Mileage

    Hey VZed owners im after a work car and looking at an 05 early build VZ with roughly 90-110,000kms on the clock. Having not seen many VzeD v6s with more than 50,000... im asking what some owners think of thier cars that are approaching this milage. Any tips on what to look for? My first assumption is that it would be better to get a 100,000+ km VZ, only because it would have had a 100,000 service and report already done by holdens?

    Any more to add?

    I have a Vz sv6 190kw edition, and I want to know some information about a engine swap... if som1 could give me advice please?
    Im looking to buy a Ls6 or Ls7 small block crate engine to put in my car..
    -will it fit in so i can still have the standard bonet on?
    -i understand that i will need a new transmition block and exhaust system.
    -if i do get this new engine will my paddle shift system still work? after a computer re-boot?
    -iv been tossing up between this engine change and getting a supercharger kit.. and because my car is at 120,000k's im thinking putting a supercharger on an old motor isnt the best thing to do. right?

    ur help and advice would be great thankyou =)

    does anyone know how to bleed the cooling system in a vz ls1 5.7. I recently has to change top and bottom hoses, since then the water level every morning is low in the radiator???

    Default Service / Repair Manual

    I own a 2005 VZ SV6 and am not really the mechanic type, but I would love to at least be able to do the basic servicing things and "man up" a little.

    I am wondering if there is a pdf copy of a general service / repair manual on this forum somwhere. I have tried to search, but to no avail...

    If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it

    Default oxygen sensor

    I have a svz comodore and my power train light has come on i took it to holden and they told me it was my o2 sensor,is it easy to replace?And is there more than 1 sensor?

    Hi, i've got a 06 VZ Wagon with the build and compliance date at 08/06. Does this make it a MY06 or MY07. Would appreciate some help on this. Thanks.

    Default VZ ECU replacement.

    Hi, just wondering if the ECU on an 2004 Alloytec 175 VZ commodore can be replaced at home with a new/secondhand one or does it need a software re load and or configuring to my vehicle???

    Yes there is one, I bought it about 2 weeks ago, it cost about $60 though, covers everything from servicing to trouble shooting, and the one i have covers from VT's through to VZ's V8's and V6's its called commodore 'V6 and V8 1997-2006'.. service and repaor manual produced by gregorys, hope thats help full lol
    if thats not enough info im sure i could post a pic of the fron cover.

    king springs. everyone knows king springs are perfect for holden's.
    just go down to autobarn and they'll supply and install it, at a cost of course.
