Post VZ Badge

Hi. Where would be the best place to purchase 2 V6 Alloytec badges for the side of the car. I know this must sound silly to most but to me the car is to plain (naked) without them. I also know it didn't come out for the 06. I tried Ebay with no luck. Thanks.

Holden would most likely still sell them.

I got a VX Calais International badge, and 2 V8 International badges from them new, and being rarer than a car with an alloytec, you'd assume they have ****loads left.

If some one can give some tips on how to remove them neatly you can have them. Personally i don't like them.

That's nice of ya buddy but i'd hate for you to stuff up the paint work. I read it on a link here that someone uses fishing line and then some spray to get the adhesive off but I wouldn't try man.

fishing line is the way, heat up the badge with a hairdryer.

What he said ^
It won't stuff up the paintwork at all. There'll just be a bit of residue left which comes off with a bit of polish

I debadged my white VX Commodore S a few years back...

Tools:
Hairdryer
Fine fishing line
MF cloth
Eucalyptus Oil

Method:
Heat with hairdryer
Slowly "floss" the badge off with fishing line (rehating with hair dryer as needed)
Swab/wipe with Eucalyptus dampened cloth

For extra after removal care, polish and the wax the area straight away to protect your paint.

Amazing that this was my initial question above and the answers are how to get the badges off Love it. It's nice to see how many people are willing to help. Thanks guys and safe driving. I was quoted $22 each from a Holden dealer which to me is way to much to spend $44 for 2 badges which wont improve the cars performance.
