change the diff ratio, if its the standard 2.87:1 going to 3.08:1 will make it a little bit more punchier while keeping hwy fuel consumption good, going to 3.27: will make a considerable differance but may affect your hwy fuel economy,
getting a tune and removing the torque managment software make a good differance to driving while giving a nice boost to kw's/nm's

Apparently Enhanced does some good work with SV6 diff's but they are in Adelaide, not sure where u live so it may not be convenient.

lol @ ferrari's...
The SV6 (and alloytec in general) needs plenty of rev's to get going, so other than diff gears as suggested theres not much you can do.

Putting a 3" single system on does wonders for the bottom end. Makes it more responsive right through the rev range as well.

How much would it cost to change the gears?

I think the going rate at most diff shops, etc is between $600-800

Please enlighten us. I thought it was common knowledge that when you open up the exhaust on anything, you get improved mid to top end power at the expense of bottom end grunt.

The alloytec likes to breathe. Opening up the exhaust makes it more responsive right through the revs and improves the bottom end lag.

Ferraris...haha, I LOL too. want to "take off quicker at roundabouts in traffic?" the commodore was not designed to do this, especially the SV6! Don't be afraid to come out of the closet, most 18 year olds are hoons!
