Exclamation VZ Alloytec exhaust group buy (CHECK THIS THREAD FOR NEW LINK)

    Hey guys,

I have run group buys for parts in the past with much success and was thinking about doing it for a VZ V6 catback. I once imported 8 TRD exhausts from Japan at a ridiculously discounted rate.

If anyone is thinking about upgrading their exhaust its a great way to save some money.

Just raising interest at this stage so let me know if you are keen. The more people that buy in the better our buying power.

Any sponsors or exhaust business affiliates are welcome to pm me if they would like to offer pricing on various systems.

So lets see a show of hands for a 3" single cat-back or dual 2 1/2" cat back (please specify your preference.) (Melbourne only. Alloytec 190s welcome)

If you can get a good deal on freight, I'm in as a supplier.

Thanks for that! Sounds good if your final unit price is cheapest including freight from NSW (I think that's where you are from??)

From WA, but I have a warehouse in every state except ACT and NT, so it would only be local freight or metro pick up. The one in VIC is in Dandenong.

Single has better low down torque and smoother acceleration but quieter, twin has a more aggressive note and has a higher rev increase.

That sounds great! Could you pm me some pricing? I want to get together at the very least 10 buyers.

Personally I think the single 3" system sounds like a better option.

    Cheers Mat

It will be a cat back system, so as long as the flanges behind the cats stay in their original position, it will fit.

Pricing will be approx $320 - $380. I don't want to waste time finding and crunching suppliers until I have numbers. Putting your name down at this stage won't be official confirmation so don't worry.

I am very interested , but I'm a little bit worried as I looked at one of my work cars (vz wagon) and it has a different system than my SVZ wagon ?? the pipes after the cats back are a bit longer ... I have not found a bolt on that is going to fit .... please help ??

Have you tried a bolt on or are you just going by looks alone? It may look different, but should still physically fit.

Think you'll find that the SVZ is different to the earlier VZ as they are Euro 4 compliant - as is the VE. I have been known to be wrong - just ask my wife.

Hi guys, Unfortunately I'm going to have to bail on this group buy! I just bought an SS exhaust for $40 bux. It wasn't official anyway just gauging interest.

Maybe somebody would like to offer to take over???

As a supplier I can certainly take over. Not just Melbourne though. I can do most states, I will post up some details later today when I get confirmation of freight from my supplier.

Yeah if you can do SA then I would consider putting my name down. I would like to know are these good quality exhausts?
