depending on how bad it is really, its a sh*tload easier to go and just buy the 1 new rim
Have searched this forum, couldn't find anything specific. Anyone any recommendations for repairs to mag suffering gutter rash after daughter went to close to kerb. Prefer someone in southern suburbs of Adelaide. Mobile service probably OK. Anyone have suggestions on how to assess suitable repair/repairer methods? What if any is the preferred method to make repairs?

Yeah thanks for that I didn't ask about replacing a wheel, I was very specific in asking about repairs to a wheel. I'm sure someone will have some worthwhile info.
If its just a few scratches it can be repaired fairly easily, I'm sure if you try yellow pages or google you'd find someone. Might be worth posting your query in the SA section of JC and ask for a reputable alloy wheel repairer in the southern suburbs.
If the wheel is cracked, which I'm assuming its not, then it makes sense to get a brand new rim, but in your case it will be an easy repair I'm sure.
Nah pretty minor really but I don't like the idea of not doing anything about it. Thanks for that, I'll try in the SA section see what comes up.
What type of rim was it factory alloy or aftermarket ? Reason I ask is because sometimes the factory rims can be bought very cheap new from eBay etc. I mean so cheap that you might only spend $50 to $80 more than the repair only cost.
Get over it, cause you will eventually scratch them all up. Then you go to this joint in Moorabbin, Melbourne, Advance Wheels or something like that, you can even send them pictures via email to their website and they will quote the repairs.
if its minor just sand it back and repaint.. easy done
next time dont let ur daughter drive obivously she cant drive then
nope, i cant afford to miss judge when u drive on 20" rims that cost me a fortune its a big no no
Thanks to all for your advice.
Just take them to a pannel shop, they will fix and spray them for sweet fa!
