Hey guys...
Will an HSV Z series instrument cluster work in my VZ SV6 automatic?
If so, would a Holden service center be able to re-calibrate it?
Thanks
yes and yes, if the odometer is over 100 km they cannot alter it though
How much would the instrument cluster set you back in the first place? And any indication on what the calibration would cost? Interested in doing this also.
Me? I'm the guy who does his job ... you must be the other guy ...
yeah interested to know how much calibration would cost also...

go the berlina/calais dash(for the white needles), and get Phreddy to change the SMD's so as u go faster, the needle changes colour :P
He can. but its only 2 stage. as there are 2 different leds that light up the needle. the confusion was about doing 3 stages. cant be done cause there is only 2 leds to use. There is a vid in one of Phreddys threads of a guy with blue to purple.. It looks pretty sweet actually.
ohh yeh and Ive seen a car Phreddy's done, looks sweet!!!
blue and red makes purple? wtf, i'm out of the loop
but Andrews car has it fitted and at red line, say after using active select pulling onto a freeway, it goes, umm, red. So tis possible to get it to redit only goes to purple because of the colour change, blue + red makes purple. so its still only 2 leds![]()
Hey i just got off the phone with Holden and they said that it may not fit depending on wether it's a series 1 or series 2. Ie my car and the HSV would need to be from the same series.
Is this right?
