MY16 VFII SSV Redline Manual
Hi guys,
Im considering converting my VZ from auto to manual.
I have done this before with my old VP and a VN and just wondering if anyone knows if it would be much different in a VZ?
Would I need to get a different computer in the VZ or can Holden flash the old one? What other wiring would I need to change?
Also are the cross members different in VZ manual and autos?

Thanks guys...

hey, ive been looking into the aswell,

the vz's use a single pedal box for each pedal, so you will need the new brake and clutch pedal. there is also 2 wires with a connector around the area of where the clutch pedal goes so im assuming that will be the plug for the clutch switch.

they use a common bolt layout and crank bolt between the auto and manual

you will need the interior parts obviously

you will need to remove the transmission control module behind the passengers kick panel

im guessing you will need the manual tail shaft of the equivalent body style

im not sure about the reverse sensor light switch and speed sensor, speed sensor may be the same plug

if you get it all together and it actually starts and runs, you will need to get it to holden and so the ecu/bcm/dash cluster and possibly abs module changed to a manual tune/settings
