VZ Berlina automatic antenna

Anyone got the same problem as this. I have the berlina stereo, as in antenna up and down buttons. sometimes my antenna wont go down when i lock the vehicle and the antenna buttons wont work when driving, as well as wont gown down when playing a cd. Problem always rights itself after a couple of drives, but always comes back. Anyone got the same problem????

is the anntenna bent? does it need to be lubed up?

Can you hear the motor working at all or is it completely dead when it isnt working?

Guys guys, i fit car stereos for a living, the ariel isnt bent and its lubricated. and yes the motor is working, and whats " is it completly dead when it isnt working " mean????? Its an intermittent problem, the wiring, motor are all fine. Just asking if someone has got the same problem. Maybe a problem thats occuring in the delay module, dunno. Just wanna ask b4 buying a new delay box, or maybe its a fault in the stereo. Its not as though i can borrow a new delay box or stereo from holden to try and eliminate the fault

Maybe you should have been clearer and mentioned that you fit car audio etc in your first post, we were only trying to help diagnose what could have been wrong...

The completely dead comment was in regards to the motor is dead when the aerial doesnt move or is the motor trying to work but the aerial isnt moving.. pretty straight forward I thought.

Take it to an Audio Tech. that knows his job.
