Default How to bleed brake lines

I have just replaced my brake pads (front and back) for my VZ with Bendix Ultimates.

My question is how do you bleed the brakes correctly especially with ABS.

I have tried the old 10 mm spanner on the bleed valve with someone pushing the brake down and constantly topping up the brake reseviour method. I am just asking if thier is a better way.

1. aslong as you have a small tube over the end of the nipple that seal well, and the hose goes at least 2 inches high than the caliper (to stop air getting into the lines)

2. get someone to hold the brake pedal down, then crack the nipple, then close up the nipple before you release the pedal.

3. this is fine with abs,

yes, on the master cylinder, it holds the fluid,

all you do is hook a pipe onto the nipple direct it into a bucket and crack the nipple, it will only drip out, so it take a fair long time

really doesnt take that long, if you give it a couple of turns after cracking it it goes a bit faster, each caliper takes less than 5 minutes?

i dont run a hose from the nipple, i just let it drip out, i just make sure i give it a rinse with water afterwards.
