I got a VZ berlina with 88K kms on it from fixed price auctions for $14K there were cheaper ones but I wanted white.

Berlina is far nicer than exec.. go the climate control!!!

vz's are starting to get rare in auction shops now as vz's have been pretty well pushed through the market to be replaced by ve's

I looked at one before i got the ss. Was around the 20 mark from memory with 60000 kays but it was a V8. Would be heaps cheaper now, that was at the start of the year.

yes in a lot of cases this is true, although fixed price is still a hell of a lot cheaper than a dealership.

I went fixed price as I live 600kms away from melbourne and couldnt get to the auction also at auction you cant test drive the car/get it inspected.

Fixed price I was able to get full stateroads inspection done including them test driving it as well.

But if you live in melbourne or close to the auction place then for sure go and bid in person but be sure of what you are buying
