VZ Commodore SRS airbag fault after Hail storm
I have just had a "SRS Airbag fualt" light come up on my VZ commodore the day after a big hail storm here is Brissy. Got some hail damage to the panels that I need to get fixed under insurance, but when I went to drive it the day after the storm I got a fault indicator when the car goes throguh self test saying there is a SrS airbag fault.
I am just wondering if anyone has heard of anything like this happening before, whether one of the sensors has been knocked or damaged or blocked or somethign through the Hail storm. As anyone in Brisbane would know, we have been absolutely hammered by these storms and this one gave my car a hiding, the roof looks like a golf ball with heaps of dents, despite multiple doonas and blankets covering the car during the golf ball sized hail storm
I am going to take it to the dealers on monday to see if there is actually a problem, or some sort of error code that can be cleared.
Would appreciate some input if anyone has seen this before
Cheers
