So i'm getting my VZ tinted today week and I'm after some suggestions also if anyone can tell me what is and isnt legal regarding tints if i jujst go black or whatever.
in victoria 25% is the darkest legal tint, and i dont think you can have pictures etc in the tint. That said many people do it. Iv got 15% and its hell dark. lol
Hi there, I would suggest you go for tint a car's darkest legal tint. It's legal and is quite dark, ive got it on my svz, looks great, 100% uv protection and I felt the difference soon after getting the tint. It has guarantee for 10yrs, you can get the number for your closest shop from their website tintacar.com.au

Tint a car have a whole range of tints, all of which are darkest legal. I forget the name of the one I got...Midnight something I think. Very happy with it, the car doesn't get nearly as hot as it used to. Was $400 or 450, but there were a couple cheaper ones you could get

Midnight ExpressI've got my VZ booked in for this weekend. I'm hoping it looks alright once it's done!
And yeah, part of the reason to get mine tinted was to cut back on the heat. I have to park outside at work, and with all black interior and a darkish car it heats up pretty damn quick.
I wasnt too keen on paying $450 for window tint, so i got a privateer to do it. Top job, not one issue! and half the price, sure he doesnt have show names for his tint. Its 5%-15% etc, but lol, im happy
I'm running 15% on my car, and it's kick arse. Not too dark but still dark enough and so much cooler. I wont recommend the place where I got mine done though, as the work is ****house.
The actual darkest legal tint is 35% in Victoria.

Thats what it was! They also had formula 1 and a couple others I forget the names of that were all 35%. And now that you mention it i might have paid a little under $400. It was a while ago now.
If anyone is desperate enough I can hunt around and maybe find samples of all their films with the details of light, heat, UV transmitted etc. All of them were 90-100% UV protection from memory
